ThinAndBeautiful.com by Liane Shaw
I recently read the book ThinAndBeautiful.com. It's about a girl, Maddie, who's in a place for people who are anorexic. As an assignment for her, she has to write a journal of her past. She starts off writing about how she was when she was little, and how her and her friend became close. Then it goes into her teenage years. Talking about her schooling, dances, boys, and parties. There's two parts of each chapter. First part is what she's putting in her journal, then the second part is how her life is now. In this place, she has no internet service, no friends, so she just stays in her room all day. It all began with her mom made her go to the doctor, When she was at the doctor, her doctor mentioned something about her needing to start watching her weight, and what she eats, only because she's none growing and everything she eats is basically gonna go to fat. But Maddie takes it the wrong way and starts starving herself. Her family and her friends start worrying about her, and telling her she needs to eat and stop starving herself. But Maddie thinks that they only say it because they want her to be miserable, but it's really because they worry about her and want her to be healthy. Eventually she loses her best friends, and she stops talking to her parents, and she turns to the internet, eventually she finds a website called ThinAndBeautiful.com. On the website, she starts talking to these three girls who are going through the same thing she is. I loved this book, and I think anyone who is worried about his or her weight should read it. Have you read this book, if so, would did you think?

This girl Maddie shouldn't think about her weight because her best friends care for what she is not what she looks like. Don't be ashamed on how you look like it what the inside that counts.
