I recently read the Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets by J.K. Rowling. It is the second book in the Potter Series. I am currently reading the third Harry Potter book called Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban. I cant really say which is my favorite out of the three because the first are equally good! The Harry Potter books are a very easy read and make you want to keep reading. Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets is about Harrys second year at the Hogwarts. In this book Harry and his friends find out about a Chamber of Secrets. In this chamber there is supposably a hideous monster that kills "Muggle" born wizards. Muggles are people that are not wizards, so just regular humans. Harry finds out why Hagrid, the gamekeeper at Hogwarts, was expelled when he used to attend Hogwarts. In this book Harry has to face his worst fears and his loyalty to his friends is tested. Every time Harry gets close to finding out who opened the Chamber of Secrets or what is in it something stops him. When Harry finds a weird diary with no writing in it he tries his hardest to figure out how to get the writing to appear. After the fourth person at Hogwarts is attacked by "the monster" Harry decides something has to be done. So he takes things into his own hands. Harry is furious when he finds out that one of his best friends Hermoine is attacked he takes things to another level and enters the forbidden forest even though he knows its off limits. I would recommend this book to almost anyone! If you have read all the Harry Potter books which one is your favorite.
