North Korea: Toeing The Line
North Korea has just recently put out a video with Michael Jackson, and Lionel Richie's 1985 charity song, We Are The World, in an orchestra version. The video was posted on Youtube.com and featured a man dreaming about a North Korean space program and the shuttle bombing a city that looks suspiciously like Manhattan.
North Korea has said that it's space program is only for peaceful purposes. Some scenes of the video were illegally lifted from the multi-million selling game (you might have heard of it) Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3. Because of this Youtube was able to make the Poster take down the video.
The video contained Korean subtitles that when translated read "Somewhere in the United States, black clouds of smoke are billowing. It appears the nest of wickedness is ablaze by the fire started by itself." And now North Korea seems to have removed the video entirely.
North Korea has long been an opponent of the United States and has long fancied itself our "archenemy". And the death of Kim Jong Il and subsequent takeover of his son Koim Jong Un probably didn't help much either. "Insanity ripens through descent" or so they say.

Are we in danger from this "archenemy"? And if so what could be done about this.
-IF YOU WISH TO MAKE A MONSTER THEN TAKE ALL OF YOUR HATES AND VANITIES AND PREJUDICES AND PUSH THEM AWAY, IT IS TOO UGLY TO BE HUMAN IT IS TO UGLY TO BE YOU, CHILDREN FEAR THE DARK BECAUSE THEY HAVE NOTHING TO WORK WITH... ADULTS FEAR THEMSELVES.-
I think the video was probably made by some idiot college kids that don't have anything to do with there lives. But it is interesting to think about, what if it actually happened and we went to war? That would be crazy! But
ReplyDeleteI think that North Korea taking it off is a sign that they don't want people to think that they will do that, and I don't think they will.
