The Eleventh Plague

I recently read a book called...well the Eleventh Plague,(direct your attention to the title) by Jeff Hirsch. The story is set after a brutal war that ravaged America; leaving most of it in ruins and killing two-thirds of the population. Stephen, main protagonist, follows his father across America in search of valuable things that can be traded for food and supplies. When his father falls into a coma after an accident he must find help soon before his father's condition worsens. He soon comes across a small town called Settlers Landing whereas they stay until his father is better. Stephen soon learns a lot of things about America's past and about school. After an innocent prank ignites a war with bandits Stephen must right his wrongs and become a leader. This book here is fairly decent although I wish there was more to it at the end. The Eleventh Plague is for anyone who is into post apocalyptic world. One thing I don't like about books and movies on the post apocalyptic worlds is that they never focus on the mental aspect on the people. Like how they would act and think when something goes terribly wrong. Walking Dead does a sort of great job at it. So if you like the Walking Dead or anything apocalyptic than this is the book for you. Wait how did I go from The Eleventh Plague to Walking Dead? Oh well, read or watch you choose. Both are good.
