I just finished the book The Choice by Nicholas Sparks. After finishing it, I can say that it is one of my favorite Nicholas Sparks books! Guys probably wouldn't like it very much because it is a love story, but girls will love it!
This book is about a girl named Gabby who moves into Beaufort, North Carolina. Her next door neighbor is Travis Parker. Gabby has a boyfriend, but she still is very attracted to Travis. Travis has had many girlfriends in the past, but something always seems to be missing. When Travis is with Gabby, nothing is missing anymore. Gabby loves her boyfriend, but he hasn't proposed yet after dating for years which makes Gabby think he won't commit. Whenever Gabby talks to Travis, everything feels easy and right. Travis always knows how to say the right things. Throughout one weekend, they spend a lot of time together talking about their childhood and their lives. In just that one weekend, they know that they love eachother. Gabby is faced with a choice between Travis and her boyfriend. Gabby has always planned on marrying her current boyfriend, but she loves Travis. Throughout the book, Travis and Gabby deal with their love and the many choices they face together. The greatest choice is how far they would go for love.
My favorite part of the book is the ending because you know that everything is the way it was supposed to be. No matter what happened through the book, there is a happy ending.

I'm not sure where you got your information, but here's the question. What makes you think that guys won't like love stories, I'm a guy and I happen to love romance novels. They aren't traditionally what a guy would read but who cares they're good books and have more story in them than most other books.

I really like Nicholas Sparks' books, they are very well written. Many people really like them as well, considering a lot of his books are made into movies! I like both the movies and the books. I've read Dear John and The Last Song, I love them. This book sounds very great just like all of his other books! Most of his books have something sad happen, and it changes the story majorly. I don't really like that, but I still enjoy his books! This book sounds great, I really want to read it! What other books have you read?
