WAL-MART TO HIRE VETS
Reading the Sioux City journal on Wednesday, January 16, /D1, an article caught my eye. The world's largest retailer and private employer with 1.4 million workers announced they plan to help jumpstart the U.S. economy.
Walmart plans are to hire 100,000 veterans over the next five years. They also plan on spending $50 billion to buy more products made in the U.S. Walmart has had a bad reputation for who they hire and the low-pay they give the employees.
Do you feel Walmart will actually do this? Are they just trying to get you in the door? What are your thoughts?

In my opinion this will come back and bite then in the butt. I would not spend that much money to buy things from the U.S. They need to do something different if they are going to do something.
ReplyDeleteI think this a very good thing because its huge the amount of things we buy from different countries. We need to start creating jobs so that the unemployment rates will go down. Our country is in debt and needs as much help as it can get.
