Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone

I just finished reading the first book of the Harry Potter series. This book is about Harry growing up in the muggle world because his parents were killed when he was a baby. He lives with his aunt and uncle until he gets a letter that says he's been accepted into the school of Hogwarts for wizards and witches. He meets Hagrid, who shows him around and gets him ready to go to school in the fall.
When he gets to Hogwarts he makes friends right away, Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. He also makes enemys like Draco Malfoy and Professor Snape. Harry finds out a very important thing is being gaurded in the school and that someone is trying to steal it. He puts all the puzzle pieces together and you'll have to read the book to find out what happens.
I have already seen all the movies so at first I couldn't really get into the book because I either knew what was going to happen or I pictured the movie in my head. I forgot what happened in the end so I ended up reading about a fourth of the book in a day. It's a really good book so I encourage people to read it. Especially if you're into magic and that kind of thing. My favorite part was when the three kids have to get through all the different rooms to reach the end and see a surprise waiting for them. If you've read this book please share your thoughts.
