Sonnet XV: When I Consider Everything That Grows

In Shakespeare's Sonnet XV: When I Consider Everything that Grows, I believe that Shakespeare is quite thoroughly describing his thoughts when he considers all in the universe that grows.  There isn't really definite place the sonnet really a definite place the sonnet takes place and Shakespeare and his thoughts are all that is involved in it.
As far as the structure of the sonnet goes, it has ABAB rhyme scheme with the ending couplet being AA. Shakespeare used personification a lot in this sonnet. Like in lines like "Where wasteful time debateth with decay" and "Whereon the stars in secret influence comment" I think each stanza was very philosophical in and nature and quite deep.
I, like most of Shakespeare's works, greatly enjoyed this sonnet. It was a quite an interesting read.  I highly recommend that you read this sonnet.

Sonnet XV

When I consider every thing that grows
Holds in perfection but a little moment,
That this huge stage presenteth nought but shows
Whereon the stars in secret influence comment;

When I perceive that men as plants increase,
Cheered and cheque'd even by the self-same sky,
Vaunt in their youthful sap, at height decrease,
And wear their brave state out of memory;

Then the conceit of this inconstant stay
Sets you most rich in youth before my sight,
Where wasteful Time debateth with Decay,
To change your day of youth to sullied night;

And all in war with Time for love of you,
As he takes from you, I engraft you new.
