Deer hunting

Deer Hunting Time is Here Again is a poem by Kathleen West. The story in this poem is taking place outdoors in the woods during deer hunting season with a family member. In my analysis I have found the poem is 4 stanzas long each containing 4 likes per stanza. With no internal rhyme sceme or end rhyme sceem but does have a sort of flow to the words every other line. The first stanza seems to be more anticipation to get out with the family and hunting. The second and third stanzas’ has the feeling of pride in their past and what they have learned from years before them.
